within the academic requirements for the second semester 2021-2022 for students of the fourth stage, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, with the aim of training students on how to write lectures and research plans and discuss them with the examination committees for the purpose of developing students’ ability to practice scientific research. A number of students presented seminars that were discussed by the department's teachers

The student, Ayat Rashid Daraa, gave a seminar entitled (Effect of Cold Hours in the Spread of Different Kinds of Fruit trees), in which the student explained the effect of cold hours on the growth, yield and spread of different types of fruits and their geographical distribution. 

The student Muslim Karim Abd presented a seminar titled “Production of secondary metabolites from tissue culture experiments.” The student explained the most important secondary metabolites produced from tissue cultures and their medical and chemical benefits.

The student Mohammed Allam Sabbar presented a seminar entitled (self-incompatibility and sterility in fruit trees). The student explained the mechanism of the phenomena of self-incompatibility and male sterility and how to use them in improving the types of fruit trees and their impact on the yield of trees.

The teachers of the Department of Horticulture and Landscaping and the fourth stage students in the department participated in the discussion .
