PhD thesis on Effect of Modified Gaseous Environmental on the Egg Shell Conductance

Sunday 21. August/ 2022

The College of Agriculture - University of Anbar discussed This morning, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, Dean of the College of Agriculture a doctoral thesis entitled Effect of Modified Gaseous Environmenton on the Eggshell Conductance of Hatching Egg Stored for Different Periods, Hatching Traits, and the chick quality student Ahmed Morshed Mahmmod. The discussion committee consisted of:

Prof. Dr. Muthanna Abdul Hamid Alwan / College of Veterinary Medicine -  University of Fallujah.

Prof. Dr. Jassim Qassem Manati / College of Agricultural - University of Muthanna – Member .

Prof. Dr. Husam Hekmat Nafe / College of Agriculture - University of Anbar – Member.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Silwan Mahmoud Abdel Latif / College of Agriculture - University of Anbar – Member.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Ammar Farhan Mosleh / College of Agriculture - University of Anbar – Member.

Prof. Dr. Ziyad Tariq Mohammed Aldhanki / College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences -  University of Bagdad – Member / Supervisor.

The study aimed was to show the effect of the modified gaseous environment on the eggshell conductance, egg quality during storing, hatching traits, and the chick quality (ROSS 308).

Author recommendations the study Using of nitrogen gas pressure in the modified gaseous environment to store hatching eggs for 14 or 21 days because of its importance in reducing the values of the gas Eggshell Conductance and the pressure of carbon dioxide gas in the modified gas environment to maintain the quality of table eggs stored for long periods. The letter was accepted after making the minor corrections recommended by the discussion committee... Mubarak to the student and the supervisor.
