The College of Agriculture - University of Anbar discussed This morning, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, Dean of the College of Agriculture a doctoral thesis entitled Production of Shiitake Mushroom and its Role in the Decomposition of Local Organic Waste and Evaluation of the Fertility Characteristics of Farm Waste student  Mohammed Barakat Abdullah. The discussion committee consisted of:

The study aimed was to recycle some local organic waste, produce shiitake mushrooms for the first time in Iraq, and test the fertility characteristics of farm waste.

 Author recommendations the study Using local organic waste and the addition of supplements to substrate to produce shiitake mushrooms, as well as the use of fungal carriers and the use of different mushroom strain  and cooperation with colleges of pharmacy and the competent authorities in the use of this mushroom as a medicinal source... The letter was accepted after making the minor corrections recommended by the discussion committee...
