Publishing a scientific research in an International Scientific Journal

Headed by Fadwa Waleed Abdul-Qahar, a lecturer in the Department of Food Sciences in our college, a scientific team that included Arab researchers succeeded in publishing scientific research titled "In vitro digestibility of Aucklandia costus-loaded nanophytosomes and their use in yoghurt as a food model"In reputable international journal:Food Bioscience (ISSN: 2212-4292) The journal is indexed by Clarivate with an impact factor: IF=5.318, and Scopus with a Citescore=4.5, and within the first quartile in Scimago=Q1. The journal is a hosted by Elsevier and Science Direct.

The aim of the research is to encapsulate bioactive plant compounds using nanophytosome as in vivo effective delivery system. The active compounds were extracted by a super-efficient green method of Supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). Nanoscale-encapsulated active materials were obtained and diagnosed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Zeta Sizer. The results indicated the efficiency of the nanoencapsulation process and the improvement of the digestibility of the synthesized particles.Web Link
