College of Agriculture at the University of Anbar discussed this morning, master’s thesis tagged )Response of Washington Navel orange saplings to spraying with growth regulators of forchlorfenuron and gibberellic acid) by student Muthana Hamed Awad Al-Fahdawi, Department of Horticulture and Landscaping. The committee consisted of:

The thesis aimed at the possibility of improving the vegetative growth traits and chemical content of "Washington Navel" orange through treatment with Forchlorfenuron and Gebberellic acid, as well as bringing them to appropriate stage for transportation to the permanent place in the shortest possible period by building a strong structure for the saplings capable of balanced growth.researcher recommended foliar application of growth regulators for their significant effect on increasing vegetative growth as well as chemical content of navel orange saplings, the researcher also recommended spraying at higher levels than the levels used in the study on other types of transplants and fruit trees to show their effect without reaching the degree of growth inhibition. After extensive discussion by the committee members, the theses was accepted after making the corrections recommended by the discussion committee congratulation to the student and the supervisor.
