Within the scheduled syllabus for the current academic year, graduate students in Soil Sciences and Water Resources Dept. presented three seminars. Master's student Alaa’ Jali Fahad presented a seminar entitled “The effect of adding amendments on some physical properties and the growth and productivity of onions in gypsum soil”. In it, the researcher explained the addition of types of improvers to gypsum soils and improving the properties of the soil and its effect on the productivity of the onion plant.

Master's student Fatima Abdulsalam Youssef also presented a seminar entitled  The Effect of Mechanical Crushing and Wetting and Drying Cycles of Light Soil on Some Soil Properties and the Sustainability of its aggregates. The researcher showed the effect of wetting and drying cycles on the stability of soil aggregates.

A master's student, Walid Saeed Farhan, presented a seminar entitled  Topographical and Hydrological Investigations for the Design of a Field drainage Network in the College of Agriculture as a model  The researcher discussed how to design a drain network based on hydrological investigations and measure its efficiency. During the seminar, a detailed discussion took place, in which the staff of the department and graduate students participated. .... All the best to our dear students. May Allah Bless them All.
