as part of the follow-up plan for graduate students in the Department of Horticulture and Landscaping for their research projects to determine the stages of completion, the graduate students presented two seminars Master's student, Omar Monther Thaker, presented a seminar entitled: Response of orange saplings to different sources of liquid organic fertilizers. During the seminar, the student explained the importance of using the liquid organic fertilizers on growth and yield of orange trees. 

Master's student Bushra Abed Awad presented a seminar entitled The effect of zinc and liquid sulfer on vegetative and flower growth of Jasminum trees. The student explained the importance of using zinc and sulfur on yield and quality of Jasminum flowers.  

A master's student Taghreed Ali Hilal presented a seminar entitled The Effect of some micronutrients on nitrogen content of tow potato cultivars. The seminar student presented the effect nutrients on the growth and yield of potato. During the seminar, a detailed discussion took place in which the professors of the department who hold high scientific titles participated, as well as postgraduate students in the department.
