A Ph.D. student Mustafa Khaled Khalaf presented a seminar titled “Characterization and Classification of Some Soils of the Western and Southern Regions of Iraq”, in which the researcher explained the classification of soils in the western region with an explanation of the origins of soils and the diversity of their taxonomic units. The master's student, Mohammed Amer Aswad, presented a seminar entitled "The Use of Remote Sensing to Study the Reflectivity of the Land Covers of Lake Burullus for the period from 2002-2018". The researcher explained the changes that occurred in the land covers during the mentioned period using modern technologies. A master's student, Gaylan Sufian Khader, presented a seminar entitled “Improving the efficiency and management of water use and the productivity of some crops under the surface and subsurface drip irrigation system in comparison with different irrigation systems”. In it, the researcher mentioned how to ration water resources using modern irrigation methods (surface and subsurface drip irrigation) and compared it to other irrigation methods in the productivity of some crops.
