Under the authority of the Deanship of the College of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Anbar, the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, and within the activities of the cultural season, held an attendance workshop entitled (Climate changes and their impact on seed production in some vegetable crops. Climate change and global warming and its impact on the local environment)... Lectured by Prof. Dr. Hammoud Gharbi Khalifa and Dr. Mukhalled Hadi Ismail, a lecturer in the College of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. The two lecturers reviewed the effects of climate change on the growth and yield of horticultural crops. The damages resulting from global warming and its negative effects on seed production of some horticultural crops. The workshop was banned by a number of teachers from the scientific departments in the College of Agriculture, as well as teachers from the Department of Horticulture and Landscaping and postgraduate students in the department. At the end of the workshop, scientific interventions were made by the attendees and appropriate recommendations were taken.
