Under the authority of the Deanship of the College of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Anbar, the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, and within the activities of the cultural season, held an attendance workshop entitled (From the trashcan to the food basket. Journey to recycle the present to save the future)... on the main hole in College of Agriculture. Lectured by Dr. Haneen Shartoh Sharqi, a lecturer in the College of Agriculture, Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources. The lecturer reviewed how waste is recycled and utilized in the agricultural field. The damage caused by the waste on the environment and plants was emphasized. The workshop was banned by a number of teachers from the scientific departments in the College of Agriculture, as well as teachers from the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources and postgraduate students in the department. At the end of the workshop, scientific interventions were made by the attendees and appropriate recommendations were taken.
