A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, where MSc. student (Hadeel Jihad murad) defended her thesis entitled (Response of date palms C.V. zahdi to foliar spray with urea and seaweed extract).

The viva committee was:

1.     Prof. Dr.  Hamid Hamdan Al-Ali / Chief of the committee - Internal examiner

2.     Prof. Dr. Mohamed Obaid Salloum  / Internal examiner

3.     Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Fadel Latif / External examiner

4.     Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fatkhan Zabar / Supervisor

This study is implemented in order to improve the vegetative growth of the palm trees. Equipped with nutrients that thus contribute to increasing the yield qualitatively and quantitatively, as well as reducing the high cost of adding nitrogen fertilizer to the soil by using "low-sprayings" on the vegetative parts of trees and stay away from the problems of adding those fertilizers directly to the soil.

Results were important in such field of study and valuable Thesis accepted with minor corrections congratulations for the student and his supervisor.
