A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abd, where PhD. student (Yaseen Abd Ahmed) defended his thesis entitled (The role of amino acids and planting date in influencing the physiological and anatomical characteristics and limiting the deterioration in the productivity of corn in the spring season). The viva committee was:

The study aimed to test the performance of the autumn varieties of corn when planted in the spring season, and to investigate the effect of the difference in planting dates and amino acids on the spring and autumn varieties that achieve the highest grain production in the spring season.

Results were important in such field of study and valuable.

Thesis accepted with minor corrections.
