A viva of doctoral thesis in Field Crops Sciences Department

A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, where PhD. student Waleed Khalid Houry defended his thesis entitled Effect of spraying plant extracts of wild eggplant and Nile flower and organic fertilizer prepared from them on the growth and yield of yellow corn, sunflower and accompanying weeds. The viva committee was:

The study aimed at the possibility of benefiting from the chemical compounds extracted from the wild eggplant and the Nile flower in improving the yield characteristics of yellow corn and sunflower, and inhibiting the growth of the weed accompanying the two crops during the spring and autumn seasons of 2020.

Results were important in such field of study and valuable.
