Today, College of Agriculture / University of Anbar hosted Prof. Dr. Salman Khalaf Issa, staff of Department of Soil and Water Resources Sciences at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences/ University of Baghdad, as a participating member (chairman) in public discussion of master’s student (Walaa Aladdin Rajab) in the Department of Soil and Water Resources Sciences for her thesis tagged (Effect of the use of waste tires and sewage irrigation on desert soil properties and plant growth). The discussion committee consisted of:

A study was conducted at College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, for season 2020, to study effect of using wasted tires and irrigation with sewage water on chemical and physical properties of desert soils and growth of the Morinca plant. The study included two factors: first factor was levels of waste tire crumbs at five levels, and second factor was irrigation with sewage water, which included regular irrigation, alternating irrigation and sewage irrigation throughout the season. Using a randomized complete block design (RCBD). The soil was mixed with rubber crumbs according to the levels of addition. Moringa oleifera seeds were planted on 1/11/2020. The pots were subjected to irrigation with regular water, and after germination, the plants were reduced to one plant in each pot and were subjected to irrigation according to the studied treatments. The thesis was accepted after make minor corrections recommended.
