Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources for first semester of year 2021-2022 and in presence of Prof. Dr. Waqas Mahmoud Abdul-Latif, Head of the Department , Prof. Dr. Farhan Muhammad Jassim who is responsible of postgraduate studying seminars. With attendance of academic staff in department. M.sc. student (Dheaulden Adil) presented a seminar entitled “The effect of zeolite and sewage sludge on the concentration of nutrients and heavy elements and plant growth”, which is among the requirements of the first semester for doctoral and master's students.

The student provided a detailed explanation of use of zeylite and residues resulting from treatment and purification of wastewater and their impact on concentration of nutrients and heavy elements in soil and on plant growth. During the seminar, a detailed discussion took place in which the department’s staff as well as postgraduate students.
