The message included: "Analyzing Gap Acceptance Behavior in Left-Turning Movements at the Al-Salam Intersection in Al-Najaf Governorate involved collecting traffic volumes for traffic movements during morning and evening peak hours, classified into passenger cars, heavy vehicles, buses, and motorcycles. The deterministic statistical approach was completed by analyzing linear regression to describe the impact of several variables on gap acceptance or rejection. These studies are of fundamental value in increasing the awareness of vehicle drivers to reduce the accident rate at signalized intersections by making appropriate decisions."
