Information Security and Data Hiding

On the hall of the Department of Electrical Engineering Tuesday, 11/12/2018.

Where the assistant teacher, "Zainab Najib," teaching in the section of her lecture, which explained the security information, and said that

Information security is a science that works to protect, secure and protect information from threats that threaten .

Information security elements:-

 1-Confidentiality: - It means ensuring that the information is not disclosed and not seen by anyone who is not authorized.

2-Integrity: - Continuity of providing information and ensuring the continuity of the work of the information system and the continued ability to interact with information.

3-Content integrity: - Ensure that the content of the information is correct and has not been modified or tampered with any stage of processing

4-Data hiding: - It is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one other than the sender and recipient concerned can doubt the existence of the message, which is a kind of secret through mystery.

The e-mail connection may include "hidden" encoding at the carrier center level, such as a document file, an image file, and a protocol. Multimedia files are perfect media for hidden transmissions, because of their size. As a simple example, a transmitter can use a non-catchy image, and adjust the point color for each hundred points, to match an alphabetic character. Change will be slight "and is not significant and is unlikely to be detected by the naked eye.
