The College Council holds a meeting "with the Academic Accreditation Committee (ABET)

The College Council and the Central Academic Accreditation Committee - Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University held a meeting in the presence of AMD Amir Abdul Rahman Hilal, Dean of the College on Wednesday 20/3/2019.

The meeting followed the recent visit by the committee headed by Dr. Zeid Mohammed Kani to the scientific departments to follow up the implementation of the accreditation system for the first semester and to receive the final reports.

The meeting covered the main points that include the scientific evidence of the departments of knowledge and the final report of the reliability of the first semester and documentation required for the courses and the calculation of outputs and final reports and follow-up documentation of graduation projects  ...

The Central Committee commended the efforts of the scientific departments in applying the reliability system and showed the strengths and weaknesses in their reports. It was agreed that the academic accreditation committees should be trained in the scientific departments more intensively through concentrated workshops targeting each department separately.

The issue of automation of the accreditation system was discussed and the agreement was initiated on the CAS form, which represents the students' assessment of the outputs of each subject and their satisfaction with their experience in this semester.
