In continuation of the coordination program between the College of Medicine - University of Anbar and the American Stanford University College of Medicine
In continuation of the coordination program between the College of Medicine - Anbar University and the American Stanford University College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Zakir Muhammad - Dean of the College, representative of Stanford College, received the consultant doctor, Dr. Osama Nassar, on Thursday 5/25/2023, in the presence of the head of the coordination team with the college, Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Ani and Dr. Walid Nassar, Dr. Raed Al-Ani, Dr. Suzan Al-Hadithi, and Dr. Omar Ajaj.
On the sidelines of the visit, the President of the University, Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, met the guest and expressed his readiness to support the coordination program and overcome any obstacles that prevent achieving the results of the program that both sides are working on.
This visit comes as one of the steps of the joint program through mutual visits between the two sides. The program also includes steps to coordinate in benefiting from international expertise to improve the academic and health program carried out by the Faculty of Medicine at Anbar University. Note that the Stanford University School of Medicine is one of the highest medical schools in the world rankings, which ranks between fifth and seventh in the world.
The guest expressed his admiration for the college's advancement and progress in the scientific level, which came after his visit to some of the college's facilities, classrooms, and educational laboratories for primary and postgraduate studies. On the other hand, Stanford College participated in the two international scientific conferences held by the Anbar College of Medicine for the years 2020 and 2023 (AIMCO-2020 & AIMCO-2022).
