The Honorable Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Al-Jaffal, chaired the first session of the 2023/2024 academic year of the College of Medicine Council, in the presence of ladies and gentlemen, members of the Council, on Wednesday, 10/25/2023, in the College Council Hall. The former Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zakir, was hosted and honored. Muhammad Mohsen, in appreciation and gratitude for his efforts in managing and progressing the college, wishing him continued success and success.
Several topics were discussed in the session, including:
1. Hosting the Chairman of the Editorial Board of Anbar Medical Journal, Professor Dr. Raed Muhammad Suhail, to urge teachers to continue producing scientific research and publishing in the journal.
2. Strengthening cooperation with the College of Computer and Information Technology in the field of artificial intelligence and its application in the field of medicine.
3. Discussing preparations for launching a social medical journal in Arabic.
4. Commitment to lecture times and theoretical and practical hours for the academic year 2023-2024 according to the schedule announced on the teachers’ website.
5. Emphasizing clinical continuity and the necessity of providing information to students effectively, while organizing a clinical medical examination.
6. Emphasis on students’ commitment to university uniforms as approved by the University Council for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
7. Approval of doctoral students’ research in the microbiology branch
