 Anbar University hosts the World University Debates World Cup

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nada, President of Anbar University, the university hosted on its stage the World University Debates held by the International Academy for Leadership and Development for the teams of the universities of Anbar and Fallujah, the University College of Knowledge, Al-Huda College, and Janat Al-Iraq University College.
The World Cup began with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of the Iraqi martyrs, then a speech by the President of the University in which he said: On this blessed day, I am pleased to announce the launch of the World Debate World Cup for Iraqi university students within the community in Anbar Governorate, in your mother university, Anbar University. Welcome, university representatives. And the participating private colleges, pointing out that this World Cup comes out of the keenness of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to activate cultural and social initiatives and to develop and enhance cultural awareness among our dear students and with the view of increasing academic and educational maturity and giving more dear students the opportunity to communicate with their peers in universities and private colleges, stressing that everyone There is a winner and there is no loser, followed by a speech by Dr. Moaz Salem, President of the International Academy for Leadership and Development, who praised the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its support of cultural and scientific activities. Thanks go to Anbar University for hosting this World Cup and for the warm reception. After that, competitions began between the competing teams to obtain first place to qualify for the World Cup. Four universities across Iraq will compete in the final World Cup, which will be held in Doha. Al-Huda University College won first place in the final round that took place between it and Anbar University.
