Visiting a number of secondary schools in the city of Ramadi
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Jaffal, the respected Dean of the Anbar College of Medicine, the Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Medicine, in cooperation with the Family and Community Medicine Branch in the College, visited a number of secondary schools in the city of Ramadi (including Al-Mughira Bin Shu’bah Preparatory School for Boys and Dome of the Rock Secondary School for Girls), in which the team of lecturers presented (A.M. Dr. Ahmed Khalaf Al-Sofi, M.D. Roya Abdel Hadi, M.D. Badia Thamer) A lecture for male and female students about the health harms of smoking (cigarettes, hookahs, and electronic cigarettes) and its effects on the health of youth and society in general.
The visit was welcomed by the administration of the two schools because of the impact these topics have on the health of our students, their level of thinking, and their academic performance.
