The College of Medicine Council held its sixth session for the academic year 2023-2024 on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walid Nassar Jaffal, chaired the sixth session of the College Council
The Council hosted Dr. Hatem Hamdan Muhammad, Director of Ramadi Teaching Hospital for Women and Children, and some joint medical and educational issues were discussed and ways to enhance cooperation to reach a state of integration and develop a mechanism to evaluate graduates during field work and work to provide health service to the community. The Council praised the efforts made by the Department’s administration. Anbar Health and the administration of Ramadi Teaching Hospital for Women and Children in supporting the educational process
The Council also praised the efforts of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq, which culminated in it obtaining international accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
The topics on the agenda were discussed and appropriate decisions were taken.
