E-Carnival: Hope and Solidarity - Women of Gaza in Our Hearts

 

 

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr Salah Awwad Salman, the electronic carnival (Hope and Solidarity - Women of Gaza in our Hearts -) was held by the Women's Affairs Unit on the occasion of International Women's Day, on Thursday evening 7-3-2024 at 9:00 pm.

This carnival was prepared by the head of the Women's Empowerment Unit in the college, and a number of important figures from outside Iraq participated in this carnival, namely (Dr Sabah Al-Mekhlafi from the Republic of Yemen) and (Dr Iman Al-Badawi from the Republic of Tunisia). The opening speech of the carnival was delivered by Prof. Dr Nusra Ahmed Jadwa, Dean of the Faculty of Education for Girls in our university, and a student from the Faculty of Management and Economics participated in it by delivering her research paper (measuring and analysing awareness of entrepreneurship and investment among women in Iraq). The carnival also included several paragraphs dealing with Arab women in general and Palestinian women in particular, and the carnival featured a video of the white wall (leave a prayer for Gaza), in which the deans, professors and students of the college participated.
