Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Salah Awwad Salman, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Wissam Hashim Khalil, the Department of Artificial Intelligence held a scientific workshop entitled: Structure of Scientific Research and Search for the Right Journal for Publication, on Thursday, 14-3-2024. The workshop was delivered by (Assistant Professor Dr Mazen Mohammed Abdul, Assistant Professor Dr Ahmed Jassim Al-Jaf, and Instructor Dr Omar Mohammed Fakhri).

This workshop dealt with several themes, namely (the preparatory stage of scientific research, the structure of scientific research, and sending the research to the appropriate journal). The workshop also included reference to the importance of publishing scientific research that would raise the status of the scientific researcher from the scientific and intellectual point of view. This workshop also aimed to develop the skills of postgraduate students in writing scientific research and master's theses and improve the ability of researchers to follow a scientific methodology for scientific advancement and benefit from the skills that enable and facilitate them to write the research in an easy and smooth manner while following the scientific steps in choosing the research topic and identifying appropriate solutions. The workshop discussed the steps and the right path for the researcher in writing the research.
