The student (Muhammad Yasser Hussein), one of the students of our college - College of Computer Science and Information Technology - Department of Computer Science and under the supervision of (Professor Dr. Khattab Mojil Ali), participated in the activities of the Huawei Information and Communication Technology Competition, which was held in the State of the Sultanate of Oman on 12-22 -2022. Our student won the second place in this competition and qualified for the international competition, which will be held in Shanghai - China - next year. His participation was among more than 19,300 contestants from the countries of the Middle East and Central Asia. This victory came after several months of national and regional competitions, in which the brightest young minds and leading academic institutions in the region participated.

Where the names of the winners at the country level included the University of Nineveh, the University of Salah al-Din and the University of Anbar. This year's competition witnessed a great competition between 15 teams of distinguished technical talents who were nominated from among 19,300 participating students from 472 universities and 11 countries from across the Middle East and Central Asia. The winners received many prizes, including cash and certificates of appreciation, as well as unique training opportunities supervised by Huawei experts.
