The College of Computer Science and Information Technology / University of Anbar, in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displacement / Anbar Governorate branch, and in coordination with the Community Police Department in the province, gave a lecture on (illegal immigration) on Tuesday 28/2/2023. Where Dr. Montaser AbdelWahed Salman, a lecturer in the Department of Information Systems, participated in holding this educational symposium entitled (Illegal immigration is the beginning of an unstable life). The symposium included the following topics:

1. Discuss activating the role of the university to prevent or reduce the risks of illegal immigration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displacement.

2. Seeking to create smart applications for projects adopted by the state in the direction of employing students to build the future and confront shady media.

3. Holding educational seminars and conferences in all university faculties to raise the importance of youth in general and students in particular and the dangers of their emigration.

4. Focusing on the issue of social care and educational guidance to address any obstacles that may target family cohesion.

5. Activating the oversight role of the community with the help of the community police to monitor the shady and destructive reality of students and youth in order to stop it and work to address it.

6. Highlighting the role of the university and the Department of Migration and Displacement, the Anbar branch of purposeful media based on achieving a promising future in the province.

At the end of the symposium, the Dean of the College and the lecturer thanked the interest of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement / Anbar Governorate branch, represented by the responsible of the Women Empowerment Unit and the Community Police Department of the Office of the Minister of Interior / Department of Relations and Information, represented by the head of the department, Brigadier General Abdul Razzaq Abdullah and Dr. Muhammad Hammoud Zaidan

The official of the Anbar Governorate Forums Unit in the Community Police Department also thanked the college for setting up such initiatives that would increase community awareness of students in particular, and youth in general, to serve the public interest.
