Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. The Salah Awad Salman, the Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology held an educational workshop entitled: University uniform, student identity, over a period of three days, starting from 10/29/2023, in Al-Khwarizmi Hall in the college, where the target group was the college’s female students in all its departments. And its stages, and the female teachers (Dr. Makarem Abdel Wahed, Dr. Sumaya Abdullah, Mrs Dania Abdel Qahar, Mrs Farah Moaz, Mrs Khitam Abdel Basset) lectured on it.

The workshop topics aimed to highlight the importance of disseminating university uniform instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education. The uniform is considered an important symbol of university identity and helps distinguish students and those affiliated with the university. It also contributes to enhancing belonging, discipline and academic excellence. The customs, traditions, and societal custom and their relationship to uniforms were discussed, and the concept of the university campus was infused with the concept of decency and consideration of public taste.
