The process of developing education has received great attention in most countries of the world, and one of the most important tools for its development was the application of quality standards that have become a feature of this era, which made thinkers call this era the era of quality as it is one of the basic pillars of the successful management model that emerged to keep pace with local and international changes. And try to adapt to it. The Division of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation, with direct support from the Deanship of the College of Science, seeks to ensure the quality and integrity of the academic process in order to build a distinguished educational system, as the Division’s mission is represented by the belief in the necessity of adopting a complete system that reflects the maturity of senior management to improve university performance and improve future performance, and our primary goal is to ensure the presence of An academic educational environment in the College of Science that adopts and applies international standards for university work and performance to achieve international accreditation, and includes four administrative units:

1- Quality Assurance Unit

2- Accreditation unit

3- University Performance Evaluation Unit

4- Laboratory Quality Unit

Vision

  The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division in the College of Science seeks to advance the work of the Division in order for its role to be effective and influential in the continuous improvement of the college’s administrative and academic performance.

 The message

Continuous improvement in the college at the administrative and academic levels through self-evaluation of all aspects of the college and correcting errors in order to reach the set goals.

Mission

1. Working to achieve the college’s mission and strategic goals by ensuring the quality of the educational, research, and community process in the college.

2. Work to reconcile the various activities, programs and projects that aim to develop the educational process.

3. Spreading a culture of quality and ensuring accreditation among faculty members, their assistants, members of the administrative staff, workers, and university students.

4. Applying accreditation and quality control standards at the college level, its departments, and its administrative units.

5. Gaining society’s trust in graduates in accordance with international standards that society is satisfied with for the quality of performance and diversity of information

6. Strengthening the relationship between the university and the community to develop and improve the services provided by the college.

7. Cooperating and strengthening the relationship with local, regional and international quality assurance and accreditation institutions.

Duties:

1. Applying the vocabulary of the quality assurance process in the college according to the directives of the Quality Assurance Directorate in the university or educational institution.

2. Providing and managing workshops and training courses for college professors regarding ensuring the quality of education and learning. 

3. Providing the Quality Assurance Directorate in the university with the necessary reports and statistics annually on the quality assurance process and evaluating the performance of professors in the college.
