Media And Government Communications Division

The Media and Government Communication Division reports directly to the Dean of the College administratively and organizationally. The Media Division focuses on the objectives of the Deanship of the College, its policies, its various activities, and its media outputs, highlighting its educational and academic identity in the required manner, strengthening and consolidating the Deanship’s relationship with its members and the external community, consolidating positive concepts about it, and highlighting its achievements to enhance its position and strengthen its relations with various parties. The division is divided into the following two units:

1-     Public Relations Unit.

2-    Media Unit.

Tasks of the Division

- Introducing the college’s scientific, cultural, sports, and social mission, goals, plans, policies, and programs.

- Managing, planning, organizing, implementing and covering media and cultural activities and events for the college.

- Introducing the college’s professors and scholars who played a role in the scientific process and introducing their achievements and scientific writings.

- Publishing all news and announcements related to the college and submitting proposals for visual, audio and print media activity.

- Follow the media and the matters published therein related to the college.

- Filming all the various events and activities in the college, including seminars, conferences, and various student activities, and working to publish them in the media.

- Active participation in special central events at the university (university day / conferences / graduation ceremonies).

Public Relations Unit

Among the duties and tasks of the unit:

- Monitoring complaints and comments received on the college’s official social media sites and pages and preparing appropriate answers and responses regarding them.

- Participate in preparing media materials, educational publications, and awareness campaigns.

- Organizing meetings, receiving delegations, officials, and college attendees, and communicating appropriately with entities visiting the college.

- Media coordination with satellite channels and journalists working to cover the college’s activities and events.

- Preparing and organizing flexes, folders, agendas, and everything related to holding celebrations and festivals.

- Follow up on the daily mail related to the division’s work.

Media unit

Among the duties and tasks of the unit

- Introducing the vision, mission, and goals of the college at the local, Arab, and international levels, through publishing scientific and academic news on social media sites and the college’s website in cooperation with the website unit, in order to enhance meaningful communication with it, through its reputation and solid scientific standing.

- Media coverage of the college’s scientific activities, such as workshops, conferences, and seminars.

- Writing news for all activities in the college.

- Photographing and documenting scientific events, scientific and community activities and activities.

- Publishing news about research and patents on the official website and social media sites in cooperation with the website unit.
