Follow-up Division

The level of the follow-up unit was raised to the follow-up division in the college in the year 2023 within the joints of the organizational structure of the College of Science according to University Order No. (No. 8493 dated 10/17/2023) and it is administratively linked to the Dean.

The message

This division aspires to provide the best in order to serve the educational process with all its titles and personalities. Continuous and permanent follow-up of day and night guards in all areas of the college, ensuring the protection of the public property of the educational institution from security threats, following up on night guards, and submitting reports and recommendations.

mission

• Conducting the process of inspecting students in coordination with the college protection force, receiving auditors, and overcoming the difficulties they face by following up on their reviews in coordination with departments, divisions, and administrative units.

• Maintaining the safety of professors, employees and students and the security of the college by following up on students within the academic departments and the university campus and solving the problems of all students in coordination with department representatives and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, as well as preserving the college’s property.

• Inspecting fire extinguishers periodically, verifying their validity, performing maintenance, and distributing them in an organized manner according to the type and area of the building.

• Ensure the safety of emergency doors for use in emergency situations.

• Sending the daily statements to the administrative formation official after the end of the official working hours.

• Preparing lists of civil defense guards on a monthly basis and following up on the guards.

• Preparing courses for self-protection teams, natural disasters, and first aid for all employees.

• Ensure that the electrical power is turned off in all buildings after the end of official working hours.

• Preparing a detailed monthly list to reduce the incidence of fires and sending it to the administrative formation official.

• Develop appropriate plans for evacuation in emergency situations.

• Inform all scientific departments, divisions, and administrative units of the necessity of turning off the electrical current after the end of official working hours.
