A scientific course on preparing histological sections
The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, held a scientific course on “Preparing histological sections.”
The course, which lasted for three days, aimed to provide practical and theoretical information about preparing histological sections. The focus was on the latest techniques and methods used in this field. The course was presented in an interactive way to encourage participation and active learning. The course presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Farhan, Dr. Ali Muhammad Samin, and Dr. Ahmed Khamis Abdullah covered various topics, including tissue composition and methods of taking tissue samples, in addition to many important topics that contribute to enhancing their skills in the field of preparing tissue sections.
