A scientific training course in the College of Science

A scientific training course in the College of Science

The Chemistry Department at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University Presidency, organized a training course entitled

((Diagnosis of nanocomposites using FESEM, EDX, XRD, NMR, FTIR))
The course was attended by the following professors:
1. Assist. prof. Dr.. Ali Karim Aliwi - College of Science - Department of Chemistry.
2. Assist. prof. Dr.. Rabah Nouri Farhan - Unified Energy Research Center - Anbar University.
3. Assist. prof. Dr.. Yousra Mahmoud Hammadi - Faculty of Science - Department of Chemistry.
4. D. Muhammad Adnan Abd - College of Science - Department of Chemistry.

The course included four topics:
The first axis  XRD and FTIR technology
The second axis is NMR technology
The third axis: SEM technology and image analysis using imagj
The fourth axis: EDX technology
A number of faculty members, graduate students at the college, and a number of researchers from various colleges of the university participated in the training course.

This scientific course aimed to provide practical and theoretical information about the diagnosis of nanocomposites using the most important modern techniques used.
During the course, the lecturers provided a theoretical and practical explanation of the most important techniques used that help researchers diagnose the prepared nanocomposites in their research, as Assist. prof. Darbah Nouri Farhan gave a comprehensive explanation of how to use the Image J program through direct application of the program.
The training course received great interest from the participants, who praised the valuable scientific content and the distinguished level of the lecturers. They expressed their thanks to the Chemistry Department for organizing this course, which contributes to enhancing their skills in diagnosing nanocomposites and their use of the Image J program, which has become a necessity for scientific research in the field of nanotechnology.
