A scientific field visit to the central library
Based on the principle of cooperation between the university’s departments, centers and colleges, and as part of the scientific activity of our dear students, the first-year students in the Physics Department conducted a visit to the central library at the university, under the supervision of Dr. Israa Kamel Ahmed, on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
This visit aims to enhance the students’ scientific knowledge and culture by exploring sources and learning about a wide range of scientific books and journals. It included a comprehensive tour of the library’s sections, where the students learned about the available scientific sources and methods of research and benefiting from them. The students conducted a scientific seminar in one of the halls. The library includes all topics related to mathematics, which are supervised by Dr. Israa Kamel Ahmed.
The students were able to conduct the scientific seminar in the form of groups, and each group gave a seminar on a specific topic. They were also introduced to the latest scientific journals and leading books in the field of mathematics. This is to help them develop their research and scientific skills.
