 A research team from the College of Science at Anbar University, consisting of Assistant Professor Dr. Rashid Muhammad Rashid and doctoral student Nour Hamid, participated in the twelfth international conference of the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University. The research team presented a paper entitled “The predictive value of markers.”

The research addressed the importance of these signs in diagnosing all types of lung cancer and determining the appropriate treatment course for patients. The research was distinguished by its precise scientific style and correct methodology, and was admired by the researchers and academics present.
This participation is considered an important achievement for the college and the Department of Life Sciences, and reflects the keenness of the College of Science and Anbar University to support scientific research in various fields. Assistant Professor Dr. Rashid Muhammad Rashid stressed the importance of this research in improving the results of treatment for lung cancer patients and raising recovery rates. While doctoral student Nour Hamid indicated that the research team will continue its efforts in the field of lung cancer research, with the aim of developing new methods of diagnosis and treatment. The Twelfth Al-Nahrain University International Conference of the Faculty of Medicine is considered one of the most important medical conferences in the region, as it brings together an elite group of researchers and academics from various countries of the world to discuss the latest developments in the field of medicine.
