" Relationship between Iron sucrose use, Fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF-23), Hepcidin and some biomarkers in patients with chronic kidney disease."

On Thursday, 12/14/2023, at ten in the morning, in the Ibn Sina Hall in the College of Science

The discussion committee consists of:

4- Prof. Dr. Hamid Hussein Ali - College of Science - Anbar University, member and supervisor

5- Dr. Amer Jihad Hussein - Anbar Health Department, member and supervisor

The study's objective is to investigate the relationship between Iron sucrose use, (FGF-23) and hepcidin before and after treatment, Study the influence of drug iron sucrose on patients' response to treatment of anemia resulting from chronic kidney disease.

The results showed infusion of 100 mg intravenous iron sucrose to iron deficiency of patients with dialysis- dependent resulted a significant reduction in Fibroblast growth factor-23, intravenous iron sucrose can effectively increase serum hepcidin, Iron, ferritin, and TS% level in hemodialysis patients.

After extensive discussion by the committee members with the student about the topic of his thesis, the thesis was accepted.
