A research team from the University documents the history of the Islamic Waqf in Anbar

Based on the directives of the presidency of the University of Anbar to affiliate with society and provide scientific and research services, researchers from the University of Anbar, staff members in the Department of History - College of Education for Humanities, documented the history of the Islamic Waqf (Endowment). This came during the formation of a research team based on the desire of the Islamic Endowment Directorate in the governorate. The study titled: “the Sunni Endowment in Anbar: A Documentary Study” and published in the twentieth volume / third issue / September 2023 of The Journal of University of Anbar for Humanities  is to give a historical and cultural dimension to Anbar Governorate, and to demonstrate the role that the religious institution plays in spreading Islamic awareness and adopting the principle of moderation as an approach in its speech.
