Consultative Bureau at College of Law and Political Sciences

 Summary on the Bureau:

This bureau was inaugurated at College of Law and Political Sciences on 2009. Lawful consultations were presented by the bureau in law, systems and Iraqi instructions in all aspects to settle the dispute in civil, commercial, administrative, agricultural and criminal affairs whether they were between the public law individuals or the private law individuals or between the two groups. Also this bureau presents opinion and consultation concerning the clash between legal texts and to clarify the ambiguity and to reinforce the relation between the university and society to spread the spirit of legal culture.

The Bureau objectives:

1-Participating in serving the society particularly after the expansion of the state institutional work and the urgent need for legal services.

2-When some ambiguous orders are issued specialists may interfere directly though without legal authority.

3-There are many orders, rules, systems, and instructions issued in contrary with the previous rules or orders, which may need of solution.

4- Some institutions are in need of special legal consultations.

5- Increasing the collage of law staff experiences by pushing them in judicial lawsuit and the civilian, administrative matters to live the practical side of the lawsuits.

The Bureau Projects:

1- Presenting the legal consultations for governmental institutions.

2- Training the state institutions officials in legal field in coordination with the continuous education section of the University Headquarter.

3-Training the investigators and the legal discipline members according to penal trial and the criminal investigation sources.

4- Presenting the legal opinion for the citizens and the companies on need.

5- Deputation in the civilian and penal claims the state institutions, the citizens against another state institutions or individuals or companies.

6- Participating in explaining the real meaning of the issued legislations.

7- Re-formulating the legal contracts for the governmental institutions and the private sector.

8- Preparing and participating in the conferences and the study seminars and the legal symposiums.
