Description and classification of new plant species in accordance with the International Code of Nomenclature (ICN)

Study of local flora and endemic plant species in Iraq and arid regions

Development of morphological data in advanced taxonomic studies

• Registration of new plant species in the Flora of Iraq

• Preparation of classical taxonomic keys

• Herbarium specimen preparation and documentation according to KEW standards

• Construction of cladograms using phylogenetic analysis software
