Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Ali Al-jumaily is a scholar in Applied Linguistics with a specialized research focus on multimodal communication in English Language Teaching (ELT). Their work sits at the intersection of social semiotics, multimodality, and applied linguistics, investigating how diverse modes of communication (e.g., visual, spatial, gestural) shape learning and meaning-making in contemporary educational and social landscapes. Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Ali Al-jumaily earned both their Master's (2020) and Ph.D. (2025) in Methods of Teaching English from the College of Humanities at the University of Tikrit. Their doctoral research employed multimodal visual methodologies to critically analyze the semiotic resources in teaching materials and digital learning environments. Complementing their linguistic expertise, they also hold an Iraqi Certificate for Computer and Information Technology Skills (University of Tikrit, 2020), providing a practical foundation for analyzing digital and technological modes of communication. Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Ali Al-jumaily research agenda is dedicated to advancing ELT practices through a deeper understanding of the complex, multimodal landscapes that characterize modern language use and pedagogy.
