Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer Inayat Saeed is a specialist in Islamic history, with a focus on the history and civilization of the Mamluks. She holds a B.A. from Al-Mustansiriya University (1996); an M.A. in Islamic History from the College of Arts, University of Baghdad, with a grade of Very Good (2000); and a Ph.D. from the College of Education (Ibn Rushd), University of Baghdad, with Distinction (2010).
She is a member of the International Union of Historians for Culture, Development, and Social Sciences; the International Union of Arab Archaeologists; and the Society of Arab Civilization and Islamic Arts. She is a standing member of the Scientific Committee of the Scholar Foundation for Research Studies and its academic conferences, and a member of the Al-‘Araqa Foundation for Culture and Development (International Trainer).
Dr. Saeed has participated in numerous international and local conferences, served on examination and defense committees for postgraduate students, and has several published research studies
