The Dean of the College of Science receives a delegation from the General Company for Petroleum Products Distribution, Anbar Branch
In a step aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academic and industrial sectors, a delegation from the General Company for Petroleum Products Distribution, Anbar Branch, visited the Deanship of the College of Science, today, Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
The Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, received the visiting delegation. During the visit, many issues of common interest were discussed, and the focus was on how to open joint cooperation frameworks between the company and the college. The importance of this cooperation in promoting scientific research and the application of science in the field of oil and gas was emphasized.
This visit comes within the framework of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation with the industrial sector and provide opportunities for students to learn about the industry and work in it. The visit aims to strengthen the partnership between academics and industrialists and achieve integration between scientific research and practical industrial applications.
