Yes to life, no to drugs

 Under the title (Yes to Life, No to Drugs), and with the support of the Dean of the College of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Emad Abdul Rihman Muhammad Salih, a volunteer team of students of the College of Science, Department of Biology, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a voluntary campaign today, Monday, 11/4/2022 under the supervision of Dr. Rajaa Fadhel Hamdi, a teacher in the Department of Biology, through the work of indicative posters to combat drugs and electronic extortion aimed at promoting awareness of drug harm and ways to prevent it, and to familiarize students with the legal, penal and educational aspects of drugs of all kinds, and to introduce their negative social and behavioral effects, and to explain the methods of luring users and the causes leading to addiction. In the forefront of which is Bad Friends, it has been distributed to all colleges on the university site, and it is hoped that a quantity of posters will be delivered to colleges outside the university site.

On the one hand, the Dean affirmed his support for such activities and events, thanking the team's efforts and appreciating their keenness and dedication to serving the community.

For their part, the deans of the faculties and their assistants welcomed this initiative from the volunteer team, appreciating this initiative.

It is worth noting that the volunteer team has a number of activities that will be launched successively for all colleges after obtaining official approvals.
