Under the guidance of the Head of the Biotechnology Department, Professor Dr. Safaa Abed Latif Al-Muaini, and within the student activities in the College of Science, fourth-stage students gave a seminar (a presentation on drug design) within the bioinformatics subject entitled (Drug Design by Docking Technology), the students explained in this The presentation showed how the drug is designed according to the information and logical data on computers in a way that differs from the traditional methods, in which the associated molecules are tested by means of simulations for the process of joining the molecules together. The discussion was attended by the Head of the Biotechnology Department, and the presentation was presented by students Ali Majeed Kareem and Muhammad Tariq Ali, under the supervision of Dr. Huda Muslih Mahmood.
