On the Occasion of the World Water Day.. Center of Developing the Upper Euphrates Basin Holds its Scientific Symposium

Under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Dr. President of Anbar University, and on the occasion of the world water day, Center of Developing the Upper Euphrates Basin at the university headquarters holds a scientific symposium on Wednesday 22 / 3 / 2017, entitled ( The Futuristic Vision of Developing the Upper Euphrates Basin: The Reality and Challenges) in the hall of Prof. Dr. Najji Tawfiq for conferences in the university headquarters in its alternative location in Baghdad/ Abu Ghraib.

The symposium was also attended by Prof. Dr. Aref S. Makhlif, university president's assistant for administrative affairs, representatives of the Ministry of Sciences and Technology, the Pioneer Project in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the center's teachers in addition to a collection of the university teachers and students.

The symposium included a number of the research papers of specialized teachers in this field. It was concluded with recommendations calling for the importance of keeping the water resources of the Euphrates and investing them in the best way to serve Anbar province in particular and Iraq in general.
