Scientific Cooperation Project with German Universities

Within the framework of the University’s strategic plan to open up to globalization and efforts towards the internationalization of the University, a scientific and research cooperation project was approved with  (DAAD).

Six Iraqi universities were included in this cooperation, including the University of Anbar, to cooperate with German universities in the field of sustainable energy, climate changes, water resources, green education, and the Bologna path in higher education.

In this regard, a virtual meeting was held in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Al-Neda, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wisam Hashem Khalil, and the Director and staff of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency, with the representative of DAAD and three large specialized German universities, coordinated by the Director of the Arab and International Organizations Department at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The President of the University stressed that the University of Anbar is ready to open sustainable international research partnerships with German universities, which comes within its strategic plan in this field. At the same time, he instructed all the University’s institutions including research centers and relevant scientific departments to open channels of communication with their counterparts from German universities in order to achieve the desired benefit from this international scientific project.
