Biography

Dr. Ahmed gained his Ph.D. in Business Management (2015) at The Energy University (UNITEN), Malaysia, and was recognized as Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE), UK (FHEA) in 2018. He became Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK (SFHEA) in 2021.

In February 2023 Dr. Ahmed was appointed in the College of Administration and Economics at University of Anbar. From February 2016 to 2023 Dr. Ahmed was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Applied Science University - Bahrain (ASU). Dr. Ahmed’s performance was soon recognized and appreciated by ASU management which resulted in his appointment as Program Leader of the Master in Business Administration (MBA). His research interests include, but not limited to: Organizational Behavior & Leadership, Human Resource Management, Learning, Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Sustainability. He has published several articles in prestigious journals, to include Scopus and Web of Science, in addition to being a member of the international program committees for a number of conferences, and is regularly invited as a featured speaker and panelist to academic and professional events. He has several research papers listed and accredited by World Health Organization (WHO COVID-19 Research Database). He supervised more than 15 masters’ theses in Human Resource Management and Business Administration. He served as chair and an examiner for several Masters’ viva and Ph.D theses in Management.
