These study aimed to investigate the relationship between the IL-37 gene (rs2708967, rs2708971, rs3811047, and rs2466449) single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and the consequences of HBV and HCV infection, as well as measuring the level of interleukin-37 in patients and health supervision and investigation of the relationship between them also, Study of the physiological effects of hepatitis B and C virus infection in patients and compared with healthy subjects the findings indicated that the majority of patients. were male, while female patients represented, also the finding indicated that hepatitis B and C patients had significantly higher levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin, C reactive protein, and alpha photoprotein than control groups in biochemical testing. The mean values for both male and female patients were higher than the healthy groups. In addition, the values of total protein, albumin, hemoglobin, and platelets were low in hepatitis Band C patients compared to the healthy controls However, Serum levels IL-37 was significantly increased in mean value of HBV and HCV patients compared to control.
