The sixth session of the College of Science Council was held

 As part of its commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement, the College of Science Council held its sixth regular session, headed by Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, on Thursday, 18/4/2024, in the presence of all members. During the session, the student representative and the Quality Assurance Division official were hosted.

During its session, the Council discussed many important matters, most notably preparation for the final exams, where the importance of good preparation and effective organization was emphasized to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of exams, through what the Council heard from the comments and suggestions conveyed by the student representative, and the importance of the role of quality assurance was also emphasized. In achieving the highest quality standards in the educational process by following up on the implementation of the college’s strategic plan and promoting scientific research, including providing research opportunities for students and supporting faculty members.
This session is considered an important step in enhancing transparency and communication between the administration and students, and confirming the college’s commitment to providing high-quality education that meets the needs of students and enhances their opportunities for academic and professional success. The college looks forward to more such constructive and fruitful sessions in the future.
The session came out with recommendations, including the need to strengthen communication between the college administration and students, activate the role of students in the decision-making process, encourage participation in scientific conferences and seminars, and publish scientific research in reputable local and international scientific journals.
Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, Chairman of the College Council, emphasized the importance of teamwork to achieve the college’s goals, and called on all members of the Council to cooperate in order to raise the level of the college.
