On a lively day, under the slogan “Anbar University is a green oasis”, launched by the University President, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada. The College of Science at Anbar University celebrated the National Afforestation Day Carnival, which falls on March 12, 2024, with enthusiastic and active participation from the first-year students of all scientific departments. The carnival witnessed the visit of a committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to view the college’s gardens and evaluate the afforestation efforts. They were received by the Dean of the College of Science, his assistant, and a number of college teachers. This carnival reflects the university’s commitment to preserving the environment, as it included various activities, including tree planting and awareness workshops, which made it a fruitful day that enhances environmental awareness and contributes to transforming the university campus into a real green oasis.
